Why You Should Enter Body Transformation Contests

The number one excuse for not working out is the lack of motivation. You may feel too tired after a long day at work, or too embarrassed to use confusing gym equipment. The best way to avoid excuses and gain optimum health is by setting a fitness goal. In turn, one of the greatest motivational tools to help you reach your fitness goal is a body transformation contest.

What is a body transformation contest?
Typically these contests are designed by online website devoted to improving your health. You and other contestants are given a set period of time to reach your fitness goals.  This time period can range from 12 weeks to an entire year depending upon the situation.

When signing up, you will be required to take before photos that reveal certain portions of your body. You can take these photos wearing sports clothes or swimwear. To prove that the photo was taken during the suggested time period, hold a recent newspaper next to show the date.

You will then need to fill out a submission form. This will ask general questions about your age, weight, height, and body fat percentage. Other personal information may be requested.

How do I train to transform my body?
Body transformations require a period of intense training that builds lean muscle while reducing body fat. You will want a program involving both strength training methods and cardiovascular exercise.

The best way to achieve your body transformation goals is through a series of interval full body workouts. Full body workouts bring you the best of both worlds. You burn stubborn fat by keeping your heart rate elevated as you perform compound strength training movements to build sleek, toned muscle.

Usually contests come with a motivational prize such as cash, personal training sessions, or free supplements. These are little tricks to get you started. After all, who doesn’t want a nice wad of cash at the end of a gruel workout program?

However, contestants always find that the actual prize is just a little added perk. The true benefit is the amazing, healthier, fitter body you achieve—and you do this all on your own! Achieving something you never thought possible will motivated you to take bigger strides and push toward more challenging goals.
